IT Department Hours & On-Call Hours
Standard Operating Hours
The Squishable Information Technology (IT) Department operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time. Employees within the department are not expected nor requested to be available to work (on-call) except when explicitly noted. All requests submitted between 6:00pm-8:00am Eastern Time will be considered outside of operating hours and wait until the next business day.
Urgent Operating Hours
The Squishable IT Department may extend its operating hours for extreme urgencies. These operating hours will never be pre-established and will occur soley based on the urgency of a particular issue, request, or situation thats developing within the company.
On-Call Operating Hours
The Squishable IT Department may extend its operating hours for special occasions, peak times, and holiday season to accomodate issues that may arise. These hours are often refered to as "on-call". On-call operating hours are not treaded as standard operating hours. Employees within the department may not be readily available during on-call hours. Employees are given a set of guidlines and response times that are to be followed during an on-call shift.
The Squishable IT Department will post all on-call schedule times no later than 1 week prior to the specified on-call period. These schedules will be posted for the private viewing of Squishables employees. A formal notification and verbal message to the management teams will be issued at the time of publication.
